Our group study rooms allow students to work or study as a group without disturbing others in the library. These private rooms come equipped with a conference table and chairs, whiteboard, and large monitor for displaying device screens.
East County Education Center and Takoma Park/Silver Spring group study rooms require two to four students. Rockville and Germantown group study rooms require three to six students.
Collaborative workstations are perfect for students who want to work on a group project or study together with individual devices. Simply follow the provided instructions to connect your devices to the workstation and display your screens on the large monitor. You can borrow any cables you need to connect your device at the service desk. No more crowding around a single screen!
Collaborative workstations are for groups of three to six students only.
The one button studios allow users to create high-quality videos with the push of... one button! Each comes equipped with a microphone, studio light, and camera. All equipment is already set up for you, making the one button studio easy for anyone to use. Don't forget to bring a USB (flash drive) to save your completed video.
