The Rockville Campus Library is currently closed for renovations. All study spaces at the Rockville library are unavailable until the temporary library location in Academic Annex (CB) opens in spring 2026.

Group Study Rooms
One Button Studio

Group study rooms are private rooms in the library where groups can work together without disturbing other library users. Most group study rooms come equipped with a large screen for connecting and displaying devices, as well as a large table and chairs.

The One Button Studio allows users to quickly and easily create quality videos without needing their own equipment or much technical skill. One Button Studios come equipped with a camera, microphone, and light. Please bring your own USB to save your video.

To reserve the Germantown One Button Studio, select the Group Study Room tab and book Germantown Group Study Room HS 113.

Montgomery College Library has two types of reservable study spaces. Group study rooms can only be reserved by currently enrolled MC students and part-time faculty. The One Button Studios may be reserved by Montgomery College students, faculty, or staff with a current MC ID card. Please see the study space guidelines page for full requirements for using these spaces.
