Information Literacy for Everyday Life: How to Become a Confident Information User Inside and Outside the College Classroom In-Person
In today’s world of easy information access and retrieval, the importance of research skills and information literacy is very important. In this workshop, attendees will explore the meaning of information literacy (IL); discover IL skills and habits to use; and how to transfer and use these skills in their everyday lives. Discover some IL skills and habits. Learn how to transfer information literacy skills used for course assignments (writing a paper, preparing for a speech, etc.) to real life.
