Understanding Scientific Information about Climate Change In-Person
It can be very difficult to sort through the news about climate change with so many contradicting claims from apparently reliable sources. In this workshop we will be talking about the people who are funding and doing research on climate change, and how their findings end up in the news. We will talk about whose research we have reasons to trust, and how to tell if news stories are being honest about the scientific research they use to back up what they say. Scientifically curious people from all backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend.
